Iowa Trophy Whitetail Hunt
This hunt takes place just outside of the Fairfield and Keosauqua Iowa area, in the famous Zone 6, which is the south eastern quadrant of Iowa. All our farms are privately owned or leased and are planted with food plots for deer retention in mind. We have multiple surveillance cameras on every property to get a count on our buck inventory. This trophy whitetail area is home to many celebrities and it’s probably one of America’s best kept secrets for Boone & Crockett class whitetails. This is a draw only unit. You must apply for a Zone 6 permit from the first Saturday of May and have until May 30th of the year you wish to hunt. It normally takes 0-1 banked preference points to draw a Shotgun or Muzzle Loader tag, and 3-4 points to land an archery zone 6 tag, so if you are thinking of hunting this whitetail meca, start planning now! Hunting archery in this area during the Rut is nothing short of phenominal. The Shotgun and Muzzle Loader seasons are also very successful for those who do not want to wait years to archery hunt the famous area. We feel this area has the perfect buck to doe ratios making the Rut like nothing you have ever experienced before.

IOWA – Shot Gun Trophy Whitetail Hunt (5 & 9 Day Hunts)
This hunt takes place just outside of the Fairfield and Keosauqua Iowa areas in the famous Van Buren County Zone 6 located in the south eastern quadrant of Iowa. We mainly hunt food plots at this time of the year. Soy beans, Turnips, Radishes and blends of winter grasses is a whitetail favorite after the Rut. You will be hunting Tree stand and ground blinds with heaters if it gets too cold. Bucks are more vulnerable and show themselves more during daylight in our food plots to replenish lost weight from the Rut. The further you get into December, the better the hunting gets! Patience is the key to success in this hunt. We like to hunt from 12pm or 1pm until dark. We try not to push big bucks off our food plots in the mornings, but rather let bucks go to bed down so we can move our hunters into the blinds and stands undetected. Muzzle Loaders can be used during the shot gun season. We have a 100% success rate on bucks over 150".
